WHERE ART ORIGINATES
The Djerassi Resident Artists Program was founded in 1979 by Dr. Carl Djerassi, renowned chemist and Stanford professor, to honor the life and work of his late daughter, Pamela, a poet and painter. Located on a historic 583-acre ranch in Woodside, California.

The Program began as a residency for women artists and expanded in 1983 to host diverse artists from all disciplines. Since its inception, the Program has supported over 2,300 artists from 54 countries, fostering creativity amidst its breathtaking landscape.
